COA Coalition is a partnership of research vendors who share the cost of independent lab testing. Instead of each vendor paying full price to test the same manufacturing lot, the group tests it once and every participating vendor is covered by that result. The coalition maintains the records that connect each test to the lot, the search code, and the vendors who carry product from it.

Lab testing fees are expensive, especially when vendors need to keep up with multiple products and changing manufacturing batches. Those costs can become part of the product markup and ultimately be passed on to customers. When testing does not keep pace with inventory, a published COA may describe an older batch rather than the products currently offered. Without relevant testing, research customers are left uncertain about a product's identity, purity, and the amount of active compound in the vial, information that matters when calculating research solution concentrations.

COA Coalition was formed to give vetted vendors a cost effective way to provide frequent product testing, with professionally managed records that connect test results to the manufacturing lots in their product catalogs. By pooling resources, vendors can reduce duplicated testing costs while maintaining more current and accessible evidence.

The goal is to help trusted vendors deliver quality products, up to date and verifiable test results, and better value for their customers through lower direct testing overhead.

Because the lab tested the manufacturing lot, not the vendor's store. The COA is issued under the COA Coalition name and applies to every verified vendor who received product from that lot. What ties a vendor to the COA is their listing on this site. Look up the search code, then verify the vendor's business name. If they are listed on that batch, the COA applies to them. A copied or stolen COA cannot pass that check.

COA Coalition vendors test products during the supply chain process to check manufacturers' quality claims before products enter their inventory. Testing can therefore take place before a vendor's final labels are applied. The coalition's record keeping process is designed to help vendors connect those test results to the manufacturing lots in their catalogs.

A different cap color, by itself, does not establish that a product and its COA come from different lots. It also does not establish that they match. The connection depends on documented lot identifiers and supply chain records.

Peptide production and vial filling can take place in separate stages. A bulk batch may be divided into smaller quantities, or aliquots, and filled into vials in more than one filling or packaging run. Labels and cap colors can vary between those runs. The records must connect the bulk batch, the filling or finished vial lot, and the sample that was tested.

Think of a large pool of water that is divided into bottles. Different companies might use different bottles, labels, or lids for water from that same pool. The outside of the bottle does not tell you which pool supplied it. Accurate records provide that connection. This is a simple analogy for traceability, rather than a description of peptide synthesis.

The coalition's role is to support transparent, accurate records linking the manufacturer, production lot, tested sample, and vendor inventory. If a label, cap, or lot identifier differs from your documentation, ask your vendor to confirm the mapping and explain the difference. Appearance alone cannot establish that a COA applies to the product you received.

Trust should still be verified. Every claim on this site can be checked: look up the search code, open the original lab document, and confirm the vendor is listed.

A search code is the unique identifier the lab prints on each Certificate of Analysis, for example COAC2609030246 or SGX-CC-2026-0825-E94. It identifies one specific test of one specific lot. It is not a product name or a compound abbreviation. When a lot is retested, it gets a new search code and a new record. Old codes keep working, so a label printed today will still resolve to the correct COA years from now.

A Certificate of Analysis is the lab's report on a tested sample. Depending on the lab and the test, it typically shows the compound identity, purity, and quantity of active compound, along with the test method, the sample and lot identifiers, and the test date. The COA describes the lot that was sampled. It is not a guarantee about every vial ever filled from that lot, and it is not a statement about any product's use.

Testing is performed by independent third party laboratories. COA Coalition coordinates the sample submission and publishes the lab's original document unaltered. COA Coalition does not perform tests and does not edit results.

Testing happens in rounds. Each round covers a set of compounds and lots submitted by participating vendors. New rounds run regularly as vendors bring in new inventory. Every round produces new COAs with new search codes.

Use the Verify Your Vendor tool. Enter the business name exactly as it appears on the vendor's store. The tool only returns an exact match. There is no public list of members and no partial matching, so a vendor cannot be guessed or scraped. If the name comes back verified, the vendor is a coalition member and their profile shows which batches they are connected to.

Check the code for typos. Codes are not case sensitive but every character matters. If the search code still returns nothing, or the vendor name does not verify, do not assume the COA is valid. Contact the vendor and ask them to confirm the code and their membership. You can also contact COA Coalition directly.

COA Coalition does not manufacture, sell, or ship product. It does not perform lab tests. It does not endorse any vendor's products or make claims about their use. It verifies membership, coordinates testing, and keeps the records that connect a test result to a lot and to the vendors carrying it.
